Macedonian Easy Jam Drops


With only 5 ingredients, these Macedonian jam drops are the best of all jam drops. This is my mum’s recipe.


Macedonian Easy Jam Drops





  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice flour
  • 250 g butter, cubed
  • Jam

Put flour, sugar & rice flour into a bowl. Add butter, rub in using fingertips until mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Divide mixture into small balls, place on a baking tray. Press with your thumb in the middle and fill with jam. Bake in the slow oven at 160C for 10-15 minutes.
