Lasagna With Vegetables And Meat (Macedonian Lasagna)

 

This is a unique recipe for lasagna, this lasagna is prepared with vegetables, which are characteristic for our country, so we called it Macedonian lasagna.

 

Ingredients:

  •     200 g. champignons
  •     2 packages lasagne
  •     1 onion
  •     4 cloves garlic
  •     2 peppers
  •     400 g. tomato paste
  •     300 g ship cheese
  •     150 g. olives
  •     500 g edamer cheese
  •     at least 500 ml cooking cream
  •     900 g minced beef
  •     Worcester sauce
  •     Tabasco sauce

 
Preparation:

Step 1: Cut peppers in thin slices. Chop onion in a half-moon shape. Chop the olives, add champignons and place everything in frying pan to discharge water. This is sauce 1.
Step 2: Fry meat and add Worcester sauce. Add chopped garlic to the meat. Add ship cheese in fractions. Add tomato paste and Tabasco sauce. This is sauce 2.

Step 3: Put pieces of lasagne on the bottom of the baking pan.  

  1. Place over sauce 1.
  2. Then place grated cheese.
  3. Then place sauce 2.
  4. Add some more grated cheese.  

Continue the procedure with the rest of the ingredients. Finish with pieces of lasagne and add lots of grated cheese with sour or cooking cream over.

Step 4: Bake in a preheated oven at 200 C for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.

Step 5: Serve!

 

Tip:

If desired, cooking cream can be replaced it with a homemade bechamel sauce.
